Voluntary
We make this statement voluntarily. We want everyone to be able to use dunel, including with a screen reader, with only a keyboard or with large text.
What it covers
It covers this website, dunel.ai, in German, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian. It does not cover dunel in the browser at dunel.ai/app/: that is the app. The app, in the browser and on the iPhone, will get its own statement.
How accessible the website is
According to our own review, the website largely meets WCAG 2.2 at level AA:
- An automated checker finds no WCAG 2.2 AA violation on any page, with one exception on desktop (see the limits below).
- Everything works with a keyboard. Focus is always visible, and a skip link takes you straight to the content.
- Every page has its own title and is structured with headings.
- The pictures of the app have descriptions that say what is on the screen.
- At a width of 320 pixels, nothing runs off the edge.
- With “Reduce motion” turned on, nothing moves by itself any more.
Known limits
- The pictures of the app show a dark interface with small text. What is on them is also in the picture’s description.
- In Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian, the pictures show the app in English.
- The website is in six languages, not in easy-to-read language or sign language.
- On desktop, in the “A day with dunel” section of the home pages, the steps that are not currently shown are too faint for the required contrast.
- We have not yet tested with screen readers on real devices.
How we checked
We checked ourselves. On 4 October 2026 with an automated checker on every page, and by hand with a keyboard, at screen widths from 320 to 1920 pixels and with “Reduce motion”, in the browser engines of Chrome, Safari and Firefox. On 5 October 2026, with the four new languages, again automatically on every page in all six languages at 320, 390 and 1440 pixels wide, and the new language menu by hand with a keyboard in Chrome.
Report a barrier
If you run into a barrier, send us an email with the subject “Accessibility”. Tell us which page it was and what you were using, for example which screen reader. We will reply and fix what we can.
