Students and trainees

You study. I remember the rest.

Exams, deadlines, office hours and your own thoughts on them. Tell me once, I add it and find it again.

At the start of term

The exam is in, with the room.

Tell me when and where the exam is. I add the event with the day, the time and the room.

A chat in dunel: “The statistics exam is on July 14 at 9 in lecture hall 2.” dunel answers “Added it for you. That’s eleven weeks from now.” Below it the card Event added: Statistics exam, Tuesday, July 14, 9:00 AM, Lecture hall 2.
  • Reminded beforehand.

5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes before an event, however you set it in your profile.

  • All in one place.

Under Planning you see events, tasks and lists together.

In the seminar

A photo of the handout is enough.

Take a photo of what was handed out. I read the deadline and add the task for you, with the date and time.

A photo of a handout: Urban History Seminar, term paper, 12 to 15 pages, due June 30, 2026, 12 noon, with the words “She handed this out today.” Below it the card Task added: Hand in the urban history paper, due Tuesday, June 30, 12:00 PM.
  • PDFs too.

Send me the file from your email or share it from another app. I read it just the same.

  • Reminded when you want.

“Remind me a week before.” Then I ping you a week before.

Three weeks later

Your thoughts, word for word.

One evening you had an idea for the outline and wrote it to me. Weeks later you ask about it and get your own sentence back, with the date.

A chat in dunel: you ask “What did I plan for the outline of my paper?”, dunel answers “First the sources, then three case studies, and the comparison at the end. You wrote that on April 9.” Below it your sentence from Thursday, April 9, 10:14 PM.
  • Ask the way you talk.

You don’t need to remember your exact words. I also search for what you mean.

  • The way you want it.

“Explain everything in simple words.” I remember that, and you see every rule in your profile.

What helps along the way.

  • I look it up for you.

For questions about the world, I search the web and give you the sources. Only the question goes out, never your notes.

  • Every week again.

“Remind me every Monday at 8 to review the lecture.” When one is done, I add the next.

  • Speak instead of typing.

On your way to class, you send me a voice message. Your iPhone writes it down.

  • Don’t start from zero.

Already studied with ChatGPT or Claude? Bring your chats, I read them and sort everything into topics.

To be honest.

What I explain freely can sometimes be off. For exams and papers, check it against your course material. When I quote you, though, it’s always your own sentence.

Tell me once.
